Inspiration for Proposal

Though I'm not into the neon aesthetic I am very curious about how to use neon colours in a way where it is not to over whelming and balances out nicely to create a nice art work.
Rob Shield is a good example of this, though he uses Neon in this work he uses pastel Neons which it more of the colour pallet I like to use.
His work is based around Cyber Punk which is something I wish to explore, why? I personally have no idea. Maybe because I'm curious about how they mix Robots with humans, if the anatomy is different, how the proportions work, and the detailing used when it comes to designing the machine wear.

This art style is the type of Illustration I would like to do and experiment with as I do like the soft sketching look but also the fine line work.
It's Lopez work is focused around drawing people as Illustrations.
I would like to experiment with this Illustration style with the Cyber punk style, as well as working with the pastel neon colours.
Mixing this style and the Rob Shield would be quite interesting as this is more flowing and sketching while Rob's is more of a clean style and the colours and more block liked.

This is another style of Cyber Punk that I am interested in, the reason why I like this one as it is a lot darker and more mysterious. In stead of being fully neon and having all bright colours, this has dark black like colours and uses neon colours to create accents or high lights and detail to the art.
I would like to experiment and learn how to make the Illustration look like it is glowing and reflective effect.
I also like the way the neon and the black contrasts making the image not as dark as it would be if they didn't add the glowing effect or neon colours.
