Looking into Critiques

The reason why I looked into Claire Bishop is that she wasn't a feminist theory Critique and I wanted to get another point of view that was different and made me think about something outside of the box. Which is what I got. I wanted to see if looking at something that wasn't relevant I could find things that were relevant and how they relate to my work. as all art pieces have something in common just in different ways. I didn't look into one article because it was relevant to me overall instead I looked into who she was and what she did and what she looked at. Though I wish I did do further research because I found her quite useful and a Critique so I might look into her workers further on the line to get more information from her.

The main thing I got from her was how the artwork interacts with the viewer which is something I do not think about. It got me thinking about context, interaction, and how that relates to my work. I was so focused on getting my message across that I forgot about context and how the viewer was going to view it and how they were going to interact with it. what affects this had on the painting and if it was going to get the message across or not and how it would be heavily taken out of context.

Now my main thought processes are
works and interaction
context and interaction

This has got me thinking if I am looking at my works from the right angle or if I am being to narrow minded and stubborn with my work and how can I stop being narrow-minded and stubborn.
