Three A3 Drawings

It was hard to pick the three A3 drawings, as I quite liked all of my work and had a lot of fun creating these drawings. After a long time and getting other peoples points of views and criticism. I had finally come to the conclusion that these three drawings where the best to pick, they where all different and had different style to them but where all similar and flowed nicely together.

I picked the hand because of the detail of the hand and the flowers, while the wires being more relaxed and flowing giving it an interesting look. The hand and flowers are drawn in a way to make it look old and aged and the flowers are also drawn in similar detail but are made to look more youthful and recently blossomed.
I also quite like the motioning of the hand and flowers making it a interesting drawing because it looks like someone is trying to get help while being tangled in wires.

This drawing is the drawing that links it to the 'Alternative Southland' theme that was given. While also staying connected to the other drawings, but over exaggerating the flowers to create a contrast between the water tower and the flowers. Also drawing a female body that has been projected from the water tower to give it a futuristic feel to the drawing but also evens out the space in the drawing and making it feel more busy and fulled. The pink and the yellow neon also go very nicely together and don't make to much of a contrast as the drawing is already busy enough and could be to over whelming with to bright or contrasting colours.

This is the last drawing I picked to be the A3, because of the contrast between the blue and the green creating a 3D like effect which fits well with the cyberpunk view. This effect also creates an interesting element to the picture as it feels as if the drawing is 'glitching' or 'moving' due to how the lines have been moved and how much they contrast. Also the line work in this drawing is very nice and the female form has been drawn realistically and no over exaggerated or idealised. While it also has symbolism with the flower over the females 'women hood', creating an more interesting pice of art work, and the wires also coming out of her 'women hood' and wrapping around her body creating a very flowing drawing that fulls up the page nicely.
