Research - week 7 - 26/03/2019

this week I have been focusing on getting my paintings done and doing particle paintings and looking into style and aesthetic approaches instead of an intellectual research approach. I wanted to see ow style reflected my self and the message and what also reflected the mood of the message. While also looking into the aspects of presentation in a non-graphic design format and a graphic design format looking at the idea of flow and anchoring. I didn't look into 60's advertisement at the time which I released while painting that I should look into because I wanted to do the 60's comic aesthetic. So my mind has a drive now to understand graphic design but, 60's comic book cover or pulp fiction comic cover. I thought it would be interesting to look into that as part of my research is about aesthetic and advertisement methods. Drawing - week 5 - 13/03/2019

I really enjoyed this class because of the model, she was cute and was lovely to draw. Her kimonos were lovely to draw as well they were beautiful silk which is very fun to draw. I tried to do every task given with each drawing a different way, trying to think outside of the box and how to push myself to become a better artist or think differently. I also liked the tasks we were given in class to do they were different and challenging which was very fun. I am quite happy with what I produced and how they turned out, they show that I was experimenting and trying to think outside of the box. I also think I captured the model quite well, though I do think I over exaggerated her body a bit by accident.
