Research - week 12 - 14/05/2019
Painting update:
I started my final painting and have started to think of ways to display the painting that will compliment the painting. I am still having trouble with droplets of ink. Though if I do the spray painting it will go along with the painting. I also noticed that this painting was going to take a lot longer than the others because of the scale and the risk factor of smudging the ink while painting. So I have done things in section only to find I have to make the sections smaller than I thought because of the risk. I also decided to sketch the design out with a lighter pencil than with a darker pencil because I did it with a darker pencil with the A3 paint and when it came it erasing the pencil it didn't affect the ink to much but it did affect the paper and it lightens up the ink slightly.
due to the paper being very soft, with a slight sheen to it, when erasing the paper. It take the sheen away slightly and the softness. Which is something I really like about the paper, and it gives the painting a more screen printed look because the paper looks nice and is compliments the ink and gives it this wet ink look.
My plan is to have this done by next week. The reason I have given myself such a large window is because of how I have to do everything section by section and let it dry. The most time consuming part is the hair and face because that where I have the most detail. This is because I like to do very detailed hair and shading in the face because this is where I want all the attention.
Though with this designs I have made myself have fish net tights and I have placed a flower over my crouch for symbolism. This flower will also have lots of detail to emphasizes the symbolism. Which will if done correctly the flower and face will fight for attention due to them being the most detailed, it will also balance out the detail in the painting.
What needs to be done
Finished the painting, do not rush take time with each section and make sure each section is dry before doing the next.
Finished the installation design, how it will be laid out and presented in the gallery. Spray paint design.
artist statement: needs to be done, I need to make my mind up on a name for this painting.
There was also this randomly bombed onto us, so this needs to get done in between doing everything else. Once my painting is complete I will start this because, the painting finished is more important than this at the moment. So I will get this done once I've got everything else done.

Project Framing and Resolution
Title & Question:
Name your project.
Question driving your project – has it evolved over the semester?
Aims, Objectives & Context:
What do you want to find out? What do you want to discover? What did you want to
create?
What skills, techniques, methodologies did you want to utilise?
Does your project fit within a larger plan/project? Describe where it fits. Does your
project serve to push your development as a practitioner? Describe how this is important
to your professional development.
Conclusion/Findings:
What was the outcome of your project? Consider both the final product and how
successfully you’ve resolved your question. Consider what you’ve learnt through this
project.
