More artist models

I would like to find more artist models that work in the medium of ink and that are women artist as I feel if I look into male artist it devalues the fact, that I am a woman painting myself and looking into the female and male gaze from a woman's perspective.

Loui Jover

Image result for jover pintor

"Loui Jover  is an Australian painter and illustrator, born in 1967, originally from Queensland. It has extensive artistic training. He studied contemporary art at the Melbourne Institute of Art, advanced visual communication at the Visual Training Institute in Sydney and commercial art at the Costa Dorada Technical School. He currently works as an independent artist and mainly sells his works through the internet. He mentions that always one of the greatest motivations he has had is to create and learn.
His passion is to squeeze creativity to the fullest through his paintings on sheet music, old books, recycled sheets ... this is the art of Luoi Jover ,  an Australian artist who captures a world of emotions and ideas about other works.
His work is based solely on ink on paper, but it is allowed to let the ink escape between the lines of the sheets, that the imperfection becomes perfect in each piece with strange drops of ink peeking out of them ... it is a kind of freedom It allows you to explore your own thoughts on paper.
The captivating elegance lies precisely in the ink that runs on the printed words of their tapestries, in the magic that their drawings cause when fused with the letters, signs and all kinds of symbols. Jover  says that his paintings are like a second story that happens about what the documents he paints about. His pieces are small romantic scenes, faces and expressive silhouettes that tell everything the viewer can imagine; They are collages of emotions.
His love for art began as a child influenced by the work of Picasso. He has stood out for the fragility and romanticism that prints his drawings."

Louis is a perfect artist model the only downside is the fact Louis is a male.

RENATA ČĖPLAITĖ

Born in Kaunas in 1987, she graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Drawing and becoming an artist from an early age, she believes that the human body is the most beautiful nature could ever have created.

Renata's work is characterized by a monochrome color gamut, which focuses the gaze on motion plastic. Body language - mood, feelings, experiences expressed by movements. Love, longing for the peace of the heart

Notes

It's been very hard to find an artist that is a woman and doing ink self-portraits. I know that I can't be the only one doing it as it's not new. The theme's I am exploring may be something that is only being discussed in ressant years. I would like to find more artist that are doing things that I am doing and want to explore, though its just where to look and find is the hardest part so I am going to have to do more researching and looking into more artist and more articles that can lead me to more artist that are in my medium.

Comments

  1. It could be that in order to continue looking into issues of gaze, self-portrait nudes, etc you'll have to branch out from ink-based renderings. Even if female performance artists, photographers, or painters are working in another medium the theme would link them to your work.
