Concept art for animal and landscape Brief was a ice volcano land. I chose a turtle and decided to put a ice land on the shell of the turtle I kept a cool tone colour pallet. I wanted everything to be simple.

concept art Brief was flying bag, no context on what the theme was or how it interacted with anything. Therefore thought outside of the box a little and instead of doing a bag pack I did a suit case that fart? or maybe its just engine fumes. With a Harry potter parody theme. Nothing to amazing was a fun idea though. Concepts aren't suppose to be final thoughts they are aloud to be rough and messy and doesn't have to be perfect an complex. Thus the reason on why it is so messy and no uniform or perfect. Concept art is great for idea generating for a big project, its like testing the waters before getting to committed to an idea where there is no going back. For my comic book I want to do lots of concept art so I can have a larger understanding a more clear view for what I want my comic book to look like. also have a better understanding in the aesthetic approach to the comic because it is a style that I have never done before  nor I know how to execute.

My essay topic I have decided on, Understanding attitudes and values: Maori Art (1) With examples:  Explain The Concept of Taonga and what it means in the context of telling New Zealand histories. Do this with two cited examples. (2 )   Discuss the question of ownership of Maori objects and stories.  Do this with reference to Maus’ gift exchange theory.     Relate this to perceived differences in the interpretation of the Treaty of Waitangi with regard to land ownership and sovereignty. Project final update I finished the painting and brought a frame, and make sure it already had D-rings or some sort of hooks on it. I decided to go with a wood grain frame instead of a simple black frame just because I thought it would look nicer to have a lighter frame to make the black ink pop a bit better.  I did have to trim my painting down because the size of the frame is 70x50 which is roughly the same size as my painting, though it did over lap so I had to trim it down to fit into the indents of the frame.  So once that was done I could put it into the frame though I did have to sacrifice some of the legs to fit it into the frame. Which I was fine with because I'm not the biggest fan of the way I did the legs and I rather have all my head and hair in frame than my legs. Once it was in the frame I had to commit to all the mistake I had make and had to admit that this was the painting I was going to hand in, this was because I am not that happy with my pain...

 Project update   basically I hate my project, i'm not sure what I want to do with the photos any more. Will probably end up re-doing all these photos and re-editing and re-doing my mock up book. I will also be look into re-doing surrealism and trying to mind a 'symbol' that I need for it. I like doing the Micro lens work and taking photos of textures. Though I do have shaky hands sometimes so the photos can be out of focus and my camera probably has something wrong with it. I am also revisiting editing styles, as I don't like the blue over tone anymore I think it is to over powering and quite vanilla and boring. I would like to try something different and look into a more 'spooky' editing style. I so like working with the colours but they always end up over powering and don't look nice as the more saturated editing. Though over all I think all the photo editing I have done is bad and I need to relearn everything all over again. I do want to re visit ...

I have handed in my sticker book and I am done with my project that I have proposed to do for this class. Now I have decided that I will continue on making sticker and I will just keep adding and expanding the simple Idea that I had into a much larger idea. It will be like a base for a business that I would like to run. Though now I have to make sure I have all the basics things of a business, making a concert base before I just throw myself out there and expect thing to work and people to buy my stickers. I have created a name that I have been consistently using throughout this project and also within my own personal art projects. This name is my business name and what all the copy right for my stickers will be under. It All Goods I have social media pages that are used to show and display my works that I do that are under the same name as the name I have been used for my stickers.
